in most fighter games, i choose the random select, i'm good with any character. however, cammy had that useful backhand type move that would allow her to go through projectiles/fireballs on super street fighter II on sega
for any other fighting games, my preference is usually the smaller females, especially if they're fast (example: Jetta on Eternal Champions)
