screen turns blue saids something about going in to bios and stopping shadowing ive tryed restarting in safe mode it didin t work it said to unplug any new hardware i did that it didn t work . i run windows 2000 with p2 350 262ram it stops half way thru the start up menu with stop error c0000221 i tryed last known good setting it didn t work. how do i fix? i noticed problems with nortons before this happend.how to do bios?and fix or bad hardware?

if it's dealing with your BIOS it might be that your BIOS may need to be updated to the latest and greatest firmware. You have to remember that a BIOS is like an operating system manager. If you have devices or software your BIOS may not be able to counter support your devices or software. first thing to do is find out what type of motherboard you got or go to the website of the PC you bought it from and download updates. try resetting the BIOS and replace the battery. If you still get the same thing then it's best to get a new motherboard.

open ur computer and fit ur ram again in itafter that try to open it in safe mode and uninstall notron from it if u r unable to open it again then it means some system files are del. by notron. thats y i recomnd AVG free antivirus it cant del. any impt. system file . best of luck
