How can I find out how my friend feels about me without making the situation too awkward. Mind you that I am very, and I mean very, shy when it comes to women. We are very good friends and have been for years now. I love hanging out with her and just talking to her. It makes my day just hearing her voice. Please I need some advice.

The girl is a very close friend who I know through family. She is three years younger than me. I'm not sure if I'm her type. Is there anything I can do or say, without making the situation awkward, to see how she feels about me? Any advice would be very much appreciated.

We went out as friends but....?
I asked my friend to hang out with me. Just the two of us. We had fun, but I did notice that she was pretty quiet most of the night. I know I didn't help the situation by doing the same. If you read my earlier question, you'd know how I feel about her. Is there something wrong or am I just looking to deep into it.

I know I posted this earlie

She is 3 years younger, she maybe waiting for you to make the first move, assuming that you can date her legally,if you can then you are going to have to bite the bullet and ask her!
You say that you know her through family, is there one of these family members that you could ask to see if she has thought about you as more than just Friends?
My best Friend and I have children the same age, my daughter, her son, we (my best Friend and I) always wanted them to get together, date, and even hoped that one day they would get married.........but they had spent their whole lives growing up together, so little did we understand, they viewed each other more as siblings or cousins, and the thought of dating each other never entered their minds..........such is life!

Spend more time with her. It should become obvious the direction she wants it to go in

Life is too short to be this shy...live in the moment...tell her how you feel, and if you crash...pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get on with you life;)
