Trim the hedge for starters, then use a hair removal cream like Veet sensitive- directions r on the box, buy it from supermarkets or pharmacies. DON'T attempt to shave with a razor, especially if u've never groomed the downstairs' rug b4! Use aloe vera gel on the area after hair removal n loofah well in the shower, over the next week to avoid ingrown hairs. It's way comfya keepin it well groomed- no where nearly as many snags n alot cooler in summer n guys tend to like a well groomed one too. Good luck!

It's like that for everybody, Vatsela. If you shave it off, you'll get a iritating rash.
If you wear a bikini, invest in a epilator. That's an electric gadget that will remove the hairs from your bikini line, legs and underarm, by PLUCKING the hairs. It hurts like hell and makes your skin swell, but all that will be gone after 24 hours.
It takes much longer to grow back, too.

I wouldn't suggest shaving right off the bat- it's not for everybody as there's sometimes irritation afterwards that a first-timer may not be prepared for.
I would suggest getting a cheap set of clippers from WalMart or something and simply using the lowest attachment to trim the area.
It's very simple, very cheap and very fast.
What's more, it's far more attractive.

it is better to leave it as it is...it maybe looking ugly n diffcult to handle bt once u shave it...you will feel itchy/burnt/ and sometime will get rash.After shaving, the hair will grow again n it hard n pricky n so better leave it as it is if it is nt causing you any irriation

trim it
use electric trimmer for even length
fast and easy = razor (cuts, stubbles fast, razor bumps)
painful but lasting = wax (brazilian)

I use warm water after I trim. Sometimes I even use Nair, but don't put it on your nether regions, it'll burn.
