There are some individuals who consciously can remember almost any experience they have had. There was a russian fellow who lived in the earlier part of the last century who would make his living by giving demonstrations of feats of memory. He had difficulty forgetting just like we have trouble remembering. He would say that people who can forget don't know how good they have it!
Even if someone found a way to supposedly measure memory capacity, I would want to see how they arrived at their result.

An average person onlyuses 10% of their memory in a liftime so that tells you not to worry about getting your memory being used up in your head unless you habve dimentia( a medical diesease)

There is no way to measure it. But I do know that people generally only use about 10 percent of there brain.
