Should he be hung, or is it better for America if he spends the rest of his miserable life in prison?

Personally, I think we should let him live, but what do the rest of you think?

Bush Seeks Retroactive Immunity From US War Crimes Prosecution

May 17 - The White House's top lawyer warned more than two years ago that U.S. officials could be prosecuted for "war crimes" as a result of new and unorthodox measures used by the Bush administration in the war on terrorism, according to an internal White House memo and interviews with participants in the debate over the issue.

The concern about possible future prosecution for war crimes—and that it might even apply to Bush adminstration officials themselves— is contained in a crucial portion of an internal January 25, 2002, memo by White House counsel Alberto Gonzales obtained by NEWSWEEK.

In the memo, the White House lawyer focused on a little known 1996 law passed by Congress, known as the War Crimes Act, that banned any Americans from committing war crimes—defined in part as "grave breaches" of the Geneva Conventions. Noting that the law applies to "U.S. officials" and that punishments for violators "include the death penalty," Gonzales told Bush that "it was difficult to predict with confidence" how Justice Department prosecutors might apply the law in the future. This was especially the case given that some of the language in the Geneva Conventions—such as that outlawing "outrages upon personal dignity" and "inhuman treatment" of prisoners—was "undefined."

That's wishful thinking. The government thinks that protecting whatever idiot is holding the office is somehow protecting the office of the President itself. In actuality, it degrades the office of the President by allowing a whatever lawbreaking dog who finds his way there to drag it through the mud. Personally, I firmly believe that he should receive the Mussolini treatment.

If Obama receives elected, issues will be so undesirable it's going to make each and every of the meant "crimes" of the Bush administration look like a picnic contained in the park, and folk will be wishing for the "sturdy previous days"! this is all relative, and no individual individual might want to likely be responsible for as a lot as Bush receives blamed for.

Is this your first time here. That question has been asked many times here. First he's the President of the USA. He'll never see jail time. Clinton lied to the grand jury, if you and I did that we'd end up in prison, he on the other hand was impeached and NEVER LEFT OFFICE. Nixon resigned and Ford pardoned him from all prosecution.
He will never go to trial.

I think he should be forced to recount all of the Dade County ballots from the 2000 election by hand. Then be forced to sit through every speech he's ever made. At night, he has to share a cell with Saddam Hussein with a non-functioning toilet and only one Mars bar for dinner between the two of them.

Attitudes like yours is one thing hurting this country. Why are you so concerned about these alleged "war crimes" committed by Bush? Why are you not outraged that Al Queda and other terrorists are TORTURING and killing people?

Let me ask you this, would you rather be a terrorist captured by American (or coalition) troops or would you rather be an American captured by Al Queda. In one of these scenarios you would be dead - and a painful, torturous death at that.

Put your anger where it is deserved - the true war criminals are the terrorists who want to kill you and me.

He deserves a long drawn out televised tribunal that goes on for months (the way they did Clinton) and then jail all of them witches! (They've been doing evil magic on the nation and the world) Then march them to the World Court and let the rest of the world weigh in. Peace will reign.
