What a preciously ambiguous question - just the way I like ‘em! ... lol
First of all, remember, "eternity", not unlike "infinity", is NOT a Quantity but a Quality. ... Eternity, if you like, in principle at least, is the (anti)time-analogous of an Infinite set of numbers. And in the same way that we envision "degrees of infinity" in a set-theoretical environment, one could also concieve of "degrees of eternity" in a time-like inference. ... In other words, what you refer to here as "the End" is NOT necessarily a required condition, nor an intermediate point, between "Existence" (or as Heidegger might put it "Essents", or simply, “things that are”) and the state(s) of "eternity". Moreover, pragmatically speaking, and as far as our modern cosmological theories are concerned, Time Itself has also had its “beginning”, so to speak. Hence, eternity, at least as it relates to the notion / dimension of time, is actually quite closed-ended (i.e. finite) in its origins (bearing in mind, the estimates of the age of the Universe itself being in the order of 15-20 billion years, give or take a few months …lol) … Likewise, theoretically speaking, it is conceivable that Time Itself might reach an end under a Universal “Big Crunch” (i.e. the reverse of Big Bang) scenario. … In short, eternity may NOT be all that “quality and not quantity” that is cracked up to be, after all. … Unless of course, you consider eternity in its Heideggerian phenomenological / metaphysical context of: “Why are there essents - why is there anything at all - rather than nothing”. ... In that regard, a truly Nothing-like eternity (anomalous as it may sound) can be conceptually considered as an internally consistent viability, requiring “The End” of "Existence" for its necessary condition. Then again, you can always choose to hold Nothing in the mirror of Being, which I'm afraid will open a whole new can of worms. ……. In any event, I hope that at least some of this stuff was helpful! ....… [Yes, I did kill a few neurons trying to explain this to you. And NO, PLEASE do NOT ask me to explain the explanation! :-) :-) ] … Excellent Question!

Okay, to start off, when you say existence, Existence of what? Existence means the action of continuing to exist, but of course, we have to have an object to "go though" this existence, right?
I'll assume it can be anything then.
Secondly, what do you mean by "pass through"? It isn't very clear, especially since this ambiguous "existence" is passing through another ambiguous object, the "end"...in my mind, it could mean two things (which are, by the way, opposites of one another). a), pass through, meaning to experience but remain uneffected, or b), to actually end (or to exprience flat)
For a), of course. An object that is eternal is one that doesn't end (or begin, but we're aren't talking about that), by definition. If an object can keep from ending, it can be eternal. But note that, unlike the context used, "eternity" isn't exactly a point that can be reached, so thus, this x object would have to continually "pass through" the end, and then, may be it could be said to be eternal (although, since we aren't eternal, we can't find out for sure since we'd perish in only a few years of watching...but thats irrelevant...)
For b), well, obviously not. If an object ends its existence, than it obviously isn't eternal, simple as that!
So, although its obviously "another one of those questions", it doesn't seem to have a far from obvious answer

Eternity deals without time. Existence as a physical being and time (which stops at the end) are out of the realm of Eternity. This also makes no sense with me at this time of night.

There is no end, only a transition. You can call that transition anything thing you want, the end, death, etc. etc. etc.
You can't reach eternity. Eternity by defenition is happening, was happening, and always will be happening.

The world consists of balance, and the end is there to complete the cycle.
Or maybe He gives us this barrier to test our faith. This kind of question can only be answered once you're there. The irony is, you can't tell us when you're already there.

No. Eternity can be actualized anywhere along the journey. It's an optical aberration.
