can someone tell me why the format of the yahoo games has changed for the worse?

Sounds like you and all of your answerers above me are having pop up problems. Or problems because of pop ups.
Here are some tips, I hope they help you, your answerers, or anyone else who may come upon your question:

they are having A LOT of problems and they are doing it for the ads.
do you think they can run forever for free on here==they obviously think they can't!
if you can't pay for their upgrade service, then you have to put up with the ads they make you suffer through.

anyway, here are some tips that can help.

to change sizes, just before you go to your room click on options (bottom left) then choose the small windows. this will help you see what others are saying!

if you're having a POP UP problem.

NOTE--You need to keep your pop up blocker ON! You don't have to accept ads & pop ups just to play games because yahoo changes formats!!

Yahoo has done this to offer ADS now.

All you need to do is on the tab that say "always allow" it should say "recent pop ups blocked" you need to high light YAHOO.COM then click ALLOW.

Your only other option, sadly, is to pay for Yahoo All Stars. This is their way of ridding pop ups for you.

yahoo has expanded so much in the past year with things like 360, answers, and so on. formats of yahoo games have suffered as well as other tools

yahoo did it to run sales ads!caused alot of problems also.latest is getting into rooms.seeing chat area. heres the fix.
set pop up blocker to always allow games.yahoo.com The easiest way to do this when you try getting in lounge and it doesn't work.click on pop up blocker. always allow tab it will say recent pop ups blocked.high light yahoo.com then click allow.1st thing you do when you get in lounge is check small windows in options box.once
in room expand it to see chat area.you only see half of cards but you can still play.

i cant even play anymore :( . i downloaded java and disallowed pop ups but still it doesnt work. Great Job Yahoo
