A better question might be is any religion the 'religion of peace'.
More blood has been shed in the name of religion than perhaps in the name of any other ideology. A simple reading of history shows it.
Noone has a monopoly on truth, and the sooner we all recognise that fact, the sooner violence will cease. peace after all has to be based on the spirit of compromise.

Yes it is i think every religion in this world teaches peace
then why target Islam...
the people who do all those maniac activities do not follow islam but follow their brain then why frame islam ..
islam doesnt teach to do bloodshed ..
maybe people get converted to islam and do these irresponsible activities in order to frame Islam

actual Islam is a very peaceful religion that discourages against violence. Real Islam is completely against killing innocent people...
