I like them, but mainly for a few popular songs. I can say that I liked the fact that they had their own sound. Most groups I like have a sound of their own and are doing something unique.
My favorite song is "Long Way Home" for sentimental reasons.

"Breakfast In America" was one of the best albums of 1979. My favorite Supertramp song "The Logical Song" was a #1 song in Madison, Wisconsin, so I heard it many times as a teenager. "Take The Long Way Home" is another classic from that album. Supertramp is an underrated group.

They were a one hit wonder like 25 years ago as I recall.That song 'Breakfast In America' was OK I guess but apparently hasn,t stood the test of time as I have not heard it in a loooooooooong time.

I like a bunch of their stuff... Babaji, Take the Long Way Home and a few others i can't think of the names right now... pretty cool and thoughtful lyrics.
