I heard that with in the next 10 years the Earth will reverse the way it turns on its axis and this will result in the end of all electronics as we know it ( no internet, tv radio etc.). We will have to start all over again. Have you heard of this and where can I find more info on it?.

From Wikipedia:

"Based upon the study of lava flows of basalt throughout the world, it has been proposed that the Earth's magnetic field reverses at intervals, ranging from tens of thousands to many millions of years, with an average interval of approximately 250,000 years. The last such event, called the Brunhes-Matuyama reversal, is theorized to have occurred some 780,000 years ago."

This is of course the magnetic field, not the rotation of the earth. Earth's rotation is slowing due to tidal forces, but it will not reverse, and certainly nothing significant in 10 years.

It will not reverse the direction of rotation or cause everything in the world to stop working. Reversing polarity simply means a change in the magnetic forces surrounding the earth. If it happens suddenly, it could cause movement of the crust in some violent ways, but it will not reverse the rotation of earth. It would take a lot more than that to reverse the rotation. Some believe it is due, but others think it will never happen. There is geological evidence that it may have happened at least once before. There are lots of scientific articles on the subject.

Not in the next 10 years but the magnetic poles have changed before. Some thing like every _____thousand years it flips, North will be south and south will be north. As for the electronics not working that is a maybe. IF the poles gradually change than that might effect the blockage of solar winds form the sun and electronics will stop working. If it is a sudden flip than it probably won't effect our electronics.

No chance that Earth is going to change its axis BUT Earth's magnetic field does periodically reverse (..north magnetic pole becomes south magnetic pole and vice versa). This has happened many times in the past, and will certainly happen again. However, there's no indication that it will happen in the next ten years.

The earths magnetic field has "flipped" on several occasions over geological time, the study of which is Palaeomagnetism.

i havent heard of that, but i think electronics will not be are biggest concern if the earth decides to start rotating the other way. it would throw off gravity and probably the entire universe.

it is several hundred years overdue for the next cycle already but it never happens suddenly. it can take 50 or more years to change polarities.
