I downloaded firefox, and netscape. And when I use those, some pages don't even come up on some webpages. I really don't have a clue about computers so can someone help me out?

Download a new copy of Adobe Flash Mediaplayer.

Before you click anything related to messages related to running ActiveX controls, you really should make sure you trust the web site that you are viewing.

If you are viewing some body's profile on Myspace for example and you are getting this message, most likely the reason you are getting the message is because the user has a video on their profile and you don't have the appropriate software installed to view the video. Clicking the bar on your browser where the message appears will help you fix that problem by downloading the software or control and then be able to view the video.

I use Windows Internet Explorer so I can't help you with Firefox or Netscape.
Maybe you should try restarting your computer - maybe that might help. You might also need to update your Flash player or something.

If you are on a website, and you asked for something to be downloaded on your computer, say yes, because you will know what you are downloading. Some websites require active x to run certain programs..good luck..

Some webpages require "active-X controles" to run content. This is a very usefull little program to have.
