First off,...Johnny Depp is an awesome actor---but my question relates specifically to Jack Sparrow's character and his role in the POTC series.
They should kill Sparrow off in the 3rd film, seriously. He's always getting into trouble, his little "I-think-I-love-you" entourage with Elizabeth Swann has completely ruined the romantic angle of the franchise, and whenever he plunges under water into a supposed "death" he never DIES.
How are they going to mend Will and Liz's relationship in POTC 3? As a Guy, I would NEVER take Liz back no matter how much I loved her. Seriously, even though she betrays Jack Sparrow, she was totally leaning in for another round of "passionate-dont-care-if-Will-sees" kissing.
For crying out loud, kill Sparrow and stop the madness. Next thing you'll know---Disney will be whipping up the evil "Pirate Koonta Kinte" as Sparrow's next foe from the Nile River of Egypt, for POTC 4.

I do not think you will find many ppl who want Jack Sparrow to die. Me for one. Jack must live...FOREVER! He is what makes the movie a movie! Heck, he is the movie if you ask me. I love him, he is so talented and creative and funny. I went and saw that movie 3x; I couldn't get enough of it! I can not wait til the 3rd movie comes out. This one just left you hanging thirsting for more. And how Elizabeth passionately kissed Jack at the end in her little plot; I think she also "enjoyed" that kiss as well. There might just be something to that kiss in part 3?? Hmmm? Never know. Will Elizabeth and Will ever get married? We will have to wait and see. But kill off the BEST part of the movie...NO WAY! Are you CRAZY? They could be like the Freddie the 14th and 15 and so on movies..as long as they make Pirates of the Caribbean #15 or 16 or what ever..I will be right there no matter what..(as long as me and the actors/actress's are alive that is).

And kill the cash cow that Disney has made a fortune off of? Come- come, dear boy- YOU should know better than THAT! Sparrow will get knocked off when he's no longer producing $$$ by the barrels full- and THEN they'll make a big movie about his DEATH- so they can rake in a hundred million more! Disney wasn't formed yesterday- you know!

ur mean Captain Jack Sparrow should not die. he makes the movie interesting and not to mention funny. his role is a great role and he shouldn't be killed. he'll always have feelings for elizabeth but he doesn't really show them and that kiss was just to get him trapped. they can't kill of thee Captain Jack Sparrow he is the greatness of the whole POTC. his role is to be a guy that has like nine lives and he does a good job of actin like a pirate and bein funny.

Nope...he is one of the best Characters in the whole movie. he stars over Orly and Keira...yep, if he dies it would b good for them but i think people would prefer for Jack to stay...he rocks and Johnny is awesome!!

I want those who thought POTC2 was a good movie to die. It wasn't a complete movie. The ending wasn't even an ending. The only purpose it served was to make a 3rd movie. That's BULLS**T and you know it.

Or what if they decide to kill Will so Jack ends up with Elizabeth?!?
