I played the clairinet in elementary school and can play the piano a bit and a few songs on a bass guitar

Yes. I've played the saxophone ever since I was a teenager. My father was in a jazz ensemble, and I'd always wanted to learn to play because of watching him. He taught me, and once I got good enough he even let me play a song or two with his band when they did a show. I have my own band now, but those days playing with my daddy will always be the fondest in my mind.
