Mine is Windows XP professional -- was just wonering what the latest or best operating system is? Thanks

Well, XP is neither of those. But it probably does have the most flexibility as far as what you can do reasonably well. I think that Linux is preferable as far as stability goes, but it doesn't have near the software compatibility. The same is true of the latest Mac system. I'm sure there are even more out there, but most of us are stuck with XP.

windows vista (releses at chrismas)
windows xp professional (so do i)
windows xp media center edision
(for super stability) windows 95
ubuntu linux
for mac:
mac os 10
