my friend found a condom...?

Question

..in her man's wallet. He said he was going to use it with her. But she said they never usually use condoms when they have sex.
He said he would never cheat on her though. What's up with that?

She should monitor this condom. Maybe put a small black dot on it, just so long as she knows it's there and he doesn't. Then just check from time to time. If it is gone then she knows, obviously, he's used it. If he tries to "replace" it with another, then all she has to do is check for that inconspicuous black dot!

He probably was going to use it if he ever got lucky with another girl. If they never use condoms then he is a liar. if they USUALLY don't use condoms then maybe he is telling the truth.

The only other explanation is that he was in the restroom of a gas station bathroom, saw the condom machine, and wanted to get one because it had one of those funny things on it like ridges or whatever.

Or maybe it has been there since sex education class in high school and he just never used it.

I don't know what other explanations there are, but if I were married or had a gf who found a condom and I didn't normally use condoms, I would come up with some lie pretty darn quick. I think I would say that I heard this brand gives the woman some extra pleasure or I was thinking about asking for anal sex and wanted to use a condom if she agreed to that, but then I would back peddle and say then I realized that you wouldn't do that honey.

Whatever the case is, I am certainly glad I'm not that guy. He has some explaining to do.

Men prefer to not use condoms so if the two of them do not use them, there is NO reason that he would want to use one with her. Why would he want to use a condom when he doesn't have to? Don't let her be stupid enough to believe that excuse. NO man would use one if he doesn't need to, no matter what he says about that.
He has it in his wallet in case the opportunity to have sex with someone else came up. Plain & simple.. he has it to cheat.
He may not have done it already but that is definately what it is in there for. At least he is not going to cheat without using one and bring her home a disease or get some other skank pregnant which is something i guess.

A lot of men carry condoms in their wallets. Mine does although we too don't use 'em. (we are married and we both get full physicals...neither of us have anything) It could be that he has been carrying it in there for so long that he forgot to take it out. I wouldn't jump to conclusions though.

If you really want to tell if he had it for a while or just bought it, check the expiration date. They have a shelf life of nine years.

1.)So, get the number of years they have been together...(say about 2) and check the date (about 2012)

2.) Add the nine years on from the date.
Two years ago = 2004
Shelf life = 9 years
Add them together: 2004+9= 2013

3.) So if it turns out that it is less time than the projected date, then he bought it before...If it is say 2015, he is buying them new.

Unless he plans on suddenly practicing safe sex, there shouldn't be a reason to buy new condoms if you don't use them.

I am not saying he is guilty, nor do I "check" my husbands wallet for "new" condoms. I thought this would be one way of finding out.
If she sincerely trusts him, then she should brush this off. Either way, suggest that they both get full physicals just in case.

Men cheat. Plain and simple. When I deployed to Bosnia, men I would least expect to cheat on there wives eventually did.
How long have they been together? If I were her, I would try not to nag him about it and start playing stupid. Then he wont think she's suspicious. Eventually he'll get sloppy and if he is cheating, she'll catch him.
A big turn off to a man is when a woman is jealous and nags and accuses. Tell her to act (although it will be hard) fine about it. Like it's no big deal so to speak. Remember: no more questions. If she's gonna find out the truth she has to have him thinking she knows nothing.

Why would he need to carry a condom if they don't use one when they are together.
There's guys who don't let a chance go by...
and the ones who have to have the circle engraved on their wallet (which might mean the condom has been there too long, or they keep replacing it).
Guys are not always faithful, but girls don't always stay behind.
He needs to get rid of it if he doesn't need it...
Get rid of it for him.

If it's not a habit, I'd be pretty suspicious. Have some fun, though. Either push a thumbtack through the center of the condom, or use a syringe to pump the wrapper full of super-glue, and seal the hole back ASAP. See what transpires! :)

Let's see, he uses it as a spare party balloon, keeps it for nostalgic purposes, protects his wallet from sudden side impacts, a rain cap for inclement weather, shows it to friends to make them think he's a stud, uses it to hold loose change, repair bicycle tube flats, or to cause a nosy girlfriend to almost have a heart attack and start some drama. He was careless, and now has to "tap dance" a believable answer!

It all depend on how long they have been together and on what level their relationship is on. Because alot ofguys just say crap just to say it and to make the girl hear what she wants to hear but if you think that he is kinda on the wrong side of the crowd then you should just let your friend know that she really needs to think about that so then you can save her alot of hurt in the future.
