I thought there were two parts of the ship, one built in Liverpool, England and the other in Belfast. You might be thinking of the word berth not birth.
Berth is the term used in ports and harbours to define a specfic location where a vessel may be berthed, usually for the purposes of loading and unloading.
Wikipedia-
So the berth of the Titanic would be in Belfast

Hi Samantha,
The Titanic was born in
somebody's mind (can´t
remember who) - so to all
those picking on born, it
had to be born somehow,
before it was built, and
surely, if you're all so smart,
surely you know what Samantha
meant.
Lighten up you all!
Why not just give her
the correct answer
with is Belfast, Northern Ireland.
So, Samantha, the Titanic
was born in somebody's
brilliant mind, built in Belfast,
Northern Ireland, and destroyed
by Mother Nature.
Enjoy!

The "unsinkable ship" Titanic was built in the shipyards of Belfast, one of the six counties of Ireland still occupied by the British Crown and generally referred to as "Ulster".
It's fatal first voyage left it's last port of Cobh in County Cork, then known as "Queenstown".

The Titanic wasn't born, it was built. It was the biggest ship of its time, and it was supposed to be invincible. Sadly, it was not invincible, as it sank into the Atlantic Ocean on April 15, 1912. My grandmother was 4 years old when it sank. She wasn't on it, but she was alive back then.
