Of course not, but individuals who don't know anything about you have no idea whether you are a quality human being. Although not a reliable test, a very easy and quick test is to assume that married people are probably quality people while single people the jury is still out until you get to know them personally. Therefore in many peoples eyes, married people are probably good people and worthy of respect while single people may or my not be. Since society here respects grudgingly, it could certainly come off that a person holds a married person out to be more important than a single one. However with the decline of marriage and the rise of unmarried couples, the marriage test becomes less and less valuable, and ultimately will fall by the wayside as a method to judge other peoples character

Important, how? I don't think one person is more important than another. Single people are more free than married people but married people have someone to share their entire lives with.

society tends to hold marriage in high respects even nowadays when it all seems to be a big fat joke. married peopple have more appeal somehow than single people. single girls love to shag married good looking guys and good looking married tend to receive a lot of attention from guys in bars, really, it kinda makes it easy for promiscuiyt but at the same time people look up to married people as responsible people even thoght that may not always be the case

I wouldn't say more important. Married people are perceived to have more responsibility, and are probably catered to more. But no one is more important than another.

Commercially yes. They get married ......the various service providers get business. Household items business gain. They give birth........the baby business gets business/profit multiply by a few babies. Schools, school material business, etc etc, use your imagination.
Singles don't generate much business unless they travel alot or have lots of hobbies.
