Don't have any children, but I am a "housewife." I worked for a long time, but we finally decided that it would be better for me to stay home. I wouldn't have it any other way. I love taking care of our house and having supper ready when my husband gets home from work. He really doesn't have to do anything. When he walks in the door, I fix him a glass of tea and get his plate ready. I take it to him. I pretty much wait on him hand and foot. It's the least I can do if he's working 60-80 hours a week so that I don't have to.

I am a stay at home mom have been for 4 years. My husband makes good money so we can afford to live off 1 income. I do everything with our kids I love it. I am not big on cooking I do every now and then he is better at it. I keep a clean home, food in the fridge, bills get paid and he really loves it when its friday payday I spend his money on that day. I have to say that I sometimes wish that I worked so my husband wouldnt as much but I love hanging out with our kids they bring me lots of joy and happiness. To you working moms out there just want you to know that I respect you and I am sure your family appreciates it so if it works go for it.

I've been home for a little over a year now and I have enjoyed every minute of cleaning out closets, working in the yard and cleaning house. Unfortunately, finances demand I have to go back to work but I'm only going part time. I hear women say they'd be bored at home but I always seem to have some project going and no time to be bored.

Let me tell you something i am a stay at home mom and i hate it.Ohhh its fun at first but it gets old and quick. Its boreing as heck you watch the same tv day in day out you have no social life unless talking to the check out girl at the grochery store counts. You feel like a maid and servant your job never ends its 24/7 .Id rather work and be able to socialize with other people and people my age instead of children, have my own money instead of having to ask and knowing when my 8 hours was up i was done for the day.So yea id rather be working than a stay at home mom it sucks

I am a stay at home mom now and I like it-sometimes. My hubby loves it but I still feel bad for not bringing in any income anymore. But I DO enjoy being able to be with the kids alot more now.

I am..I am..and I LOVE IT...that's right I L-O-V-E it! I was a single mom and had to do the whole work thing. Pay rent, babysitter...etc. etc. Now I am married have two wonderful boys and I get to take care of them 24/7 my oldest one goes to school so I do volunteer work in his classroom. It's great! I do homework with him everyday, help him study for his tests, and always have a nice meal for him after school! (not always home cooked) but as far as the baby goes...everyday is a new adventure and I love that Im not missing one minute of it. It's also nice to spend time with my husband on his days off before and after work. I LOVE MY LIFE.

I love being a stay at home mom...I hate being a wife to an inconsiderate a*hole whose only mission in life is to piss me off by snapping in my face 20 times a day and telling my daughter "mommy's bad" because i dont think the snapping among other things are funny.

I'm a doctor but when I come home, I still do all the cooking, cleaning, shopping, homework help, taking kids places, etc. I kind of want to stay home, but I love my job!
