normally, it is safest 5 days after and before a woman's period. no need for both of you to take/use any contraceptive. I should know because we've tried it during the first 6 months of our marriage.
although, there isn't still any guarantee as it still varies to the ovulation cycle of a woman. the best way is still consult an OB as to what is the best contraceptive to come up with to avoid pregnancy.

when it is this important to YOUR conjugal life and you are so fed up with using rubbers. it is time for you to visit the in office team to get yourself fixed my friend. don't worry about if she is being responsible or not. you only need to worry about that YOU are doing your part responsibley.

the ONLY safe time is when you are using some form of birth control...your partner can even get pregnant during her period!

The rhythm method is the most unreliable but before you even use that your partner should have at least 6 months of charts to see when her body usually ovulates before you have unprotected sex.

There is never any "safest" time... she can get pregnant at any time- even DURING her period.
You should ALWAYS use some type of protection- each and every time. If you're tired of rubbers, try something else. Maybe she can go on the pill, or use a diaphragm. Talk to your doctor.

There really is no safe time - sperm can live way up inside the womans body for up to a week. also woman all ovulate at diffrent times of the month and even if she knows when she does it can vary by a few days early or late for the same girl month to month

There is no such thing as a safe time. Have your partner take birth control pills or get a vasectomy. No method is 100% sure.

right after the period. the egg is released after each period, and it comes down the tubes to be fertilized. the closer to each nearing period on a girl, the more chance of pregnancy.

Anytime your girl is on the pill or after she inserts an IUD.
