Took everything except: a 2X4 so he wouldnt fall in the crank whore, a bible open to the 10 commandments, his toothbrush that I had just cleaned the toilet with, all his porn (he was a sick bastard, i mean a Barely Legal with a pic of our daughter in between the pages - i gave that one to the cops), and 1 plastic knife, fork, and spoon. All his tools and stuff I gave away---while he'd been out running around with the crank whore I had sanded and redone all the floors, painted walls, etc, so I unsanded, undone and un painted everything, if ya know what I mean. HELL HATH NO FURY! Got a protection order so he couldn't come home and took my time doing these things. It was fun.

Depending on how the relationship ended,
I generally threw stuff out.
I didn't bother going through the time wasted of burning it or anything....lol
Generally I believe, moving on with your life doesn't require a lot of effort keeping that stuff,
sure, memories are gone...but who wants to keep something that ended?

one night, i went to the pier, tied a heavy rock around neck and dropped it into the water! the toy bear is sleeping with the fishes literally!

It was thanksgiving and he didnt come home so i threw all his stuff on the lawn and comforter included, and threw mashed potatoes, greasy turkey, gravy and stuffing all over it on the front lawn. He was pissed.

got rid of them. still have pictures though. they were in scrapbooks and photo albums. They are just part of memories and there is no sense in destroying something just to get rid of pictures. All the other stuff though i'm sure i just through away.

depends. If it's stuff you want to keep. You keep it unless he asks for it back then you contemplate giving it back. If it's junk box it up and mail it.
Otherwise the leftover junk is used as a ploy to see him again. (or visa versa)
