Yahoo said I committed a violation because some one asked a question about getting the teens there own catergory and I answered with that would be good but then who would we laugh at. meaning it as just fun not as something mean. because don't a lot of us laught to ourselves when some of these young kids get on here and ask advice about sex and stuff it is funny. Yahoo said it was insulting other participents. I've seen worse and read way worse insults then that. I'm a good person and wouldn't hurt anyone. I'm a mature adult with a teen of my own and try my hardest to give good answers and i was just feeling like beining funny that night. I do not agree that is was insulting. Do you think Yahoo was right to say I deservered a violation? Serious answers only please.

Hi smiley Its a case of mistaken comments You are the recipient of a warning only because some one else has taken your joke and understood you to be serious thats a problem with answers its you comenting and others judging your comments so you are at the mercy of peoples better judgment and that can be a bit of a gamble . dont take it personally your a contributor here and these kids think as we once did that these problems, what we have lived through and now find trivial at times are their lives so they will bite if we make fun even if it is soft and well meant

Have not read any of yr Q nor A here so far , but if what u ask n say here is tru ... u have my sympathy. If it's only a warning from Yahoo now, keep up with yr activity here but I hope this also sends a strong message to others who r really the guilty ones n need to be appropriately "punished". I like to c some rules being applied, not like some other sites which end up with too many wackos Q n A that people are now tired of n returning to Yahoo

I'm sorry to hear about you getting hammered like that. But I suppose its a lesson that you need to be careful with how you post sometimes. You may not have meant anything with your response, but the OP may have construed it as being much different.

I'm sure you are a very sweet person and so I wouldn't worry about it. Yahoo only clamps down (ie closes an account/prevents from allowing people to post) repeat offenders. Consider this first message from yahoo as a warning, and just be more careful from here on out.

I like your answer. So did someone report it, then? I'm not sure how that works but maybe so, or else how would it have been drawn to Yahoo's attention? Wow, with some of the crap questions and answers I've seen on here, I'm surprised that YOU were targeted as a bully!!
