When i went to a party i wear a mini skirt and my dad got so mad at me because i wear one that he wont allowed me to go to parties anymore.Is he right? Anybody know what should i do ? Please HELP!!!!!!

depending on how old you are, your father has a point. i could tell you to just change once you leave the house...but i'm a mother of a baby girl now...and if she did that...ooooooo...you're young and gonna do what you want to do.
and please, whatever you do...DO NOT WEAR THOSE UGLY *** LEGGINGS UNDER YOUR SKIRT! that **** is so ugly and not attractive at all! makes the person look like they are 3. and it's not cute.

Your dad sounds strict, but still he has his reasons and it would be better for you not to go behind his back and break his rules. That's probably why he's mad, because now he dosen't know if he can trust you. Don't worry, just do your best to prove you're mature and responsible. I'm sure he'll let you go to parties again in time. If you want to wear mini skirts to school, ask him if it's okay if you wear them with tights that you can't see through. He will probably appreciate that you're asking permission instead of trying to wear them on the sly.

for now listen to your dad. when you are an adult you can choose what you wear to parties. could you wear the mini with tights underneath? that is in right now and it would still allow you to wear the skirt without showing so much skin (thats what i do so i can wear my short skirts to school) and remember a well fitting pair of jeans can show offf your great legs as well as a mini skirt can. my point is that this probably isnt a big enough deal to really fight your dad on (save your energy for when you want to marry the rock star and your dad wants you to marry the ivy league doctor)

If you are young enough to still be living in his house, you 1. still have to follow his rules and 2. should not wear a miniskirt to a party, you have a good chance of ending up being forced to do something you don't want to do. Talk to him about other options like maybe short shorts or a skort that looks like a skirt. You can also wear leggings under the skirt or dress up the skort to compensate.

My dad was the same way. This is how mom helped me. We bought dresses that could pass for tops and I would wear jeans or whatever with it. When I left the house I slipped off the jeans and I had a mini dress on. I did this with Moms help so ask mom first. Other wise it's dads rules or you well never get to go any where.

Sorry about that, but im gonna have to part way agree with your dad. Mini skirts can be kinda provocative but they can be cute and not so bad once you make them that way. Try wearing leggings with a mini skirt, the style is in this year so you wont feel awkward and it is very sexy and hot. So i hope this helps!!

It depends on your age first. Mini skirts are cute but not to a party , that will only cause problems. Your dad is looking out for you in ways you wouldn't understand . Remember he was once a teenage boy and he knows what lil boys are thinking when they see a girl in a miniskirt. Its for your own good hun

I would like to say that the spandex and/or leggings under skirts looks horrendous! something out of a 1980's punky brewster show!
If your under 16, your dad is right, you shouldn't be wearing them at all. Over 16, well, only when appropriate(NOT school). Best thing is to just not let your dad see that side of you. No dad wants to think about his daughter being or trying to be sexy. Do what star did and just keep the mini's hidden or do what catholic school girls do and roll up your long skirts.

I think your dad is just upset because you are growing up. Some of the things you are starting to do are beginning to be out of his control and he's not sure how to deal with it. Therefore he asserts his control where he can. Maybe if you and he would compromise, you could both be happier.
Then again, it could be that the skirt was indecently short, or that you are really too young to be wearing them. He needs to take your opinion into consideration, but you need to list to his side, too. He really only has your interest at heart.

It depends on your age and where you live. If youre in high school and you live some place hot then theres no reason why you cant wear one. (as long as its 3-4 inches below your ***) Talk to your dad about it and if hez like "NO" then tell him you'll wear pants or a longer skirt next time (suck up if you still want to go to parties) Good luck!

Mini skirts aren't very lady like. You could wear a pair of leggings underneath it since that is the current style.
