Join a club - lists are usually available at the local library, for river rafting, skydiving, classic car - their road runs are marvelous,
offer to clean a rock climbing exercise store - beaut babes too - in exchange for climbing exercises volunteer for police/fire cadet duty ditto lifeguard
The contacts you make will either lead you on adventure or fund it for you.

fishin (with worms you dig for at 5 am)
go to the mall and dont buy any thing
the fair (on discount night)
walk that cute nieghbors dog when they just cant
baby sit
read every book on advertures at the local book store
go hang out at a sporting event
do a dance in you own living room (naked)
call a friend from your earlier school days
