How were your feelings about 9-11 5 yrs. later?

I am happy that some one had guts to go after the people who are messing with my freedom.

Sad mostly. I'm really sad that so many kids my own kids ages have died for a crass attempt to cover up the bumbling of Bush and his cronies. I don't see how the loss of these good kids, not to mention all of the soldiers who are being slaughtered for a rich man's ego has anything to do with protecting our freedom. They agreed to protect our country when they signed up. So bring them home and let them do that.

How long is it going to be that we, the People, allow these politicians to destroy our country? How long before we stand up and demand an end this is nonsense.

Everything that Bush has done, is a slap in the face of every one of the thousands who died innocently by the hand of a madman. And how dare Bush and his thugs use 9-11 as an excuse to destroy the ideals and protections that George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Hancock, and all of our forefathers and mothers struggle for and won. Bring our sons and daughters home. Now.

It doesn't get any easier thinking about it-I can tell ya that much. Five years ago, we were at a Christian school on lunch break when my mother came in the door. She had been crying, so naturally we asked what was wrong. She then proceeded to tell us what was going on. The students all gathered around for prayer and the smallest boy in our group was crying and shaking all over. He was terrified.
We finished out the day and went to a friends house to watch the coverage on TV since we don't own one. I held the baby in my arms as we watched the towers fall, again and again. The images will be burned in my mind forever.
When we got home, my brothers and me all slept in our parents room on the floor in sleeping bags. Just to be near them.
September 11, 2001 showed us that the ones you love the most can be taken from you sooner than you know it.

I am still angry as H*ll, I don't ever want to forget because if we forget, we will become complacent and it will happen again. They will not quit....and neither should we.
