Methuselah lived the longest at 969 years. If you do a little calculating with the values in Genesis 5 and elsewhere, you'll find Methuselah died in the same year Noah's flood began. He may well have perished in it.

One of the New Testament letters mentions a priest by the name of Melchizedek, who "was never born and never died" and yet existed in some sense.
