I have no soft ware to block hackers, spywear, pop-ups, and etc
is there a free website to get these for free...scan and CLEAN!
I really need it, my computer is slow, things are deleting/missing and alot of pop-ups

I advise you to run HiJackThis to show a readout of what's going on with your computer.

Don't you have Yahoo toolbar? If not, I suggest you download it. Yahoo toolbar includes a pop-up blocker, Norton antispy, and scans e-mail -- all free. McAfee or Norton are both good programs and when you buy toward the end of the year,you can get them for $30. Not bad for a year's protection.
As to your computer being slow, there are many "home" remedies to increase speed:
- Do not run a complex screensaver. It is always running in the background, using your memory while you are trying to work.
- Check Startup, and remove anything you do not use daily. It will only take an extra minute to load when you do need a program.
- Clean house: Run an error check, disk cleanup, defrag - these should be done regularly. The more frequently you run them, the less time they take.
- From Internet Explorer: click Tools, cl Internet Options.
Delete Cookies, Delete Files (check offline files), clear history.
- Occasionally, cl Start, Run
Then type ipconfig renew (that's ipconfig space renew)
If all else fails, you just may need more memory.

hi, try a more secure browser.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

but over all go to www.google.com and search by free antivirus,free firewall, dont do free spyware because it will give you some bogus programs.

I also reccomend spybot and Ad-Aware. Download them now. You'll be shocked at how much crap you will find
