I think the older your kids get the less sleep you get. I think it's the knowledge that you can go to sleep that keeps you up. My kids are passed out by ten, I'm not in bed till midnight. Then back up by four when the baby gets up. Sometimes I lay in bed wanting to sleep but can't because I know someone is going to wake up with a nightmare or a leaky diapers, but it never happens. Anyone else go through this? My mom said the worse sleep she ever got was when my sister and I were teenagers, she said that when we were babies sleep came easier. Hmm What parents are one here that could be sleeping?

I'm not understanding the first persons answer. If you could explain to me the rudeness that would be great. O.o

That`s me I stay up half the night because I know someone will wake me up or the baby will. My wife sleeps like a baby by 10:00pm and I stay up until 2:00 sometimes 3:00 am and play on the computer or watch tv. I don`t sleep no more than 4 hours a day and sometimes it catches up to me. But if I sleep at least 4 hours a day that`s a good rest for me. It will catch up to you though but you`ll be right back at the same thing a day or 2 later. I`ve never been able to sleep that well anyway!!

My mom is like that too, me my brother and I. We just have so much homework, and she has to clean around house, do shopping, go to meetings for school. She did say it was easier to take care of us when all 4 of us were little. She gets up at 4 because my dad wakes up at that time.

I know what you mean. I can never get a whole night of sleep. It seems I am always waiting for one of them to wake up. Good luck to you.
