The real reason for the change is basically money because the new actors don't have to be paid as much as the original actors. Veronica Taylor will always be Ash Ketchum and they did the change was during that Mastermind of the Pokemon special that was never aired in Japan. Hell even there was a petition to stop this which didn't do a damn thing. To make matters worst because CW didn't want to spend the money editing it passed it to the CN. Also 4-Kids didn't want to renew their contract in showing Pokemon so P-USA took it over. I hope this helps you out to. What will I do this fall without Pokemon? Oh, that's right I have to deal with that sorry show "Johnny Test".

Yeah, I can tell you. My sister was the voice for Officer Jenny in the last season (Season 8, I think it was), because the original Officer Jenny went MIA. At the end of the season, it was announced that the company that had the contract for the voices and merchandizing from the beginning lost their contract. Now, another company is doing it, and since the original actors were contracted (had non-compete agreements, basically) with the first company, they were not legally allowed to go to the new company. Hence, all new voices.
