plasma would be better right now because only a small percentage of tv show are brodcast in hi def. you will only get to really enjoy the hdtv occasionally.

Don't get a plasma because it doesn't last as long as LCD HDTV. It may burn in a few years. It is also hard to repair if something terrible happens to it...

i heard plasma is bad cause if the screen goes your screwed and it cant be fixed. good luck! i like my good old fashioned 27 inch t.v. had it for years
