Many people. I try and remain open for all that I can learn from others. I try and give as much as I receive, but think the balance is still that I get more from others. You get something (positive or negative) from almost anyone you interact with to any degree. Whether it is a lifelong association or just understanding more about yourself and what you will and will not put up with in a relationship.
A couple of times in my life I have had what I consider to be "saviors", they are both still in my life and some of the people that I can really discuss important issues with, in a mature way.

I believe all the people we love and cherish have an impact on our lives. They can even change our views on things. I have a really close friend of mine that has changed my outlook some for better but a few probably for the worse but My husband really seems to change my outlook for the good. I think he realizes how much power he holds over me. We were meant to be!

I used to work home health a few months back and the man I cared for had congestive heart failure and wasn't supposed to live as long as he did. Well he lived 5 years past what he was expected. I didn't think too much of my job or him in the begining but I learned a lot from him about life...I used to think that life was nothing but one big vortex of sadness and misery. How he lived his life taught me that life is too short to worry about what I am not doing or what I could be doing. I should worry about what I am doing in the here and now and to cherish every moment that I am breathing.

I had a boss early on in my career, who was tough and fair. He supported me in many of my decisions, and protected me from a few folks who had a grudge against me before I even came into the office. He had a great sense of humor, involved himself in the same work he asked of us, and was also a good family man which inspired me as I was just starting a family. He's had his share of foes and critics, but is a tough little guy who always works with a positive end-goal in sight. No other boss I've had has quite matched up with him yet.

Well, Yes. But it took an anarchy angel to bestw the dreams of the dead before my life could be changed for the good. It was perfect first than crazy as hell than just plain nutty. Now, s'okay.

Earth angels - most definitely. Sometimes however, we do not see the blessing until we have time to reflect on the experience.
