So I had a party and two of my male friends stayed the night, and I went to sleep first and did what I always do, I climbed into bed with my cabbage patch doll, and my friends saw this and called me gay and laughed at me. The next day I felt embarassed and I decided to masculate my doll so I put a little Cubs hat on my cabbage patch kid and dressed it in a tank top. I thought then their laughter and taunts would cease but they told me they didn't want to be my friend anymore. What should I do now?

Tell your friends that it helps you sleep and that it is nothing to be ashamed of, because it isn't. there are alot of people who sleep with alot of stranger things than that. Don't worry about it. I sleep with a barbie doll!! What ever comforts you and lets you sleep good is the thing that is most important. Your so-called friends who taunt you must not be your friends, because friends , real friends, wouldn't do that. Maybe it's a time to change some friends. besides what ever helps you sleep is most important. I sleep with a cross-dressed babie doll, dont feel bad! best of luck to you and you might want to find some real friends who will support you.

I think that is endearing that you have a doll. If you are straight who cares about what the guys think anyway. A girl will think that is cute and that is cool. A guy might think that is cute anyway too. I like the sports style. How about having different outfits for different ocasssions. Worry about pleasing yourself and not them anyway. Who cares do what you want. You are 22 now and this is not high school. If you are in a Fraturnity you will be out soon hopefully. You should be able to think for yourself. Personally I do not have dolls because I do not like them. I think they are creapy, but I love stuffed animals.

Well if they don't wanna be friends w/ you then screw 'em !!! Who needs friends like that anywayz ? Ummm are you sure you're telling the truth ? :s This sounds like one of those Qs that peeps make up to see how everyone's gonna respond :s
In case it IS true tho, I think that you should lose the doll. Don't sleep w/ it anymore. Give it to a kid who could use a new "friend" :) It's not in the norm for guys (not even girls) to sleep w/ dolls. Maybe you need to talk to a counselor bout this. Dr. Phil comes to mind. Good luck.... !!!

If you are goingto love yor cabbage patch at age 22, that is ok with me, but you must expect some ribbing and joking about this subject....after all, how many friends do you know sleeping with their cabbage patch dolls???????????

I still have my puppy doll that I sleep with and I am 37 LOL!! My husband thinks it is cute! In fact, he still has his fav stuffed animal from when he was a kid! So if your friends don't like it, they are not your friends!!

I can tell they are rally inmature, just be yourself. I'm 20 and I still buy dolls and I like it. I gave my boyfriend a sheep and he has it hanging in the wall. That doesn't determine if your are gay or not. You should be laughing at them :)

I think everybody does SOMETHING weird. We're HUMAN!! I personnaly lost a dog while I was in the hospial when I was nine(now 40), and I was walking through this parking lot one night, and saw this tiny stuffed koala bear on the ground. I now keep it in my dash in rememberance of that dog that died!
