My favorite Jonny Depp movie " Las Vegas is the Perfect place to be on mescaline' he really looked like he was trippin.

The beginning, the car ride to Vegas. The initial inventory of the brief case of fun!
The hotel room with 18" of water in it!
The bar/hallucination scene.
Great flick ( it has been awhile).

I love that movie. Everyone should run out and get the Criterion Collection DVD right now. My favorite scene is where Dr. Gonzo is trying to get off the spinning bar.

I pretty much liked the whole movie. It was pretty cool to see johnny depp tripping!!!

I didn;t like it when i first saw it, as i felt the director did not really capture the flavor of the book.
Maybe I should go back and give it a second try
