Contact your doctor so he can tell you a different method. Perhaps just changing the dose will help. Also, sprinkle a little flax seed on oatmeal or in yogurt or pudding and eat it. This is the best natural laxative you can take. You do need to get this under control. People who struggle with chronic constipation are at a higher risk for colon cancer. Those toxins that are in your stool need to be expelled from your body on a daily basis. If this is a chronic problem, perhaps you can try a regimen of Citrucel. My niece has Chronic bowel problems and this keeps her going everyday. Do not let this go as this can lead to more serious problems.

Sounds like you have a major fecal impaction. I would recommend a Fleets enema, colace, and the application of warm compresses to your belly. Drinking hot or ice cold fluids will also stimulate the gastrointestinal tract. If your bowels don't move after all of this, seek treatment right away! You could have a serious problem that could require hospitalization. Good luck. Hope everything comes out okay.

Sounds like your system is out of whack.. Forget conventional doctors they only treat
Symptoms not the cause of the problem! Go
see a Herbalist or Naturopathy Practitioner.
Let the conventional doctor tell you wants wrong and go to Herbalist or the NTPP as I suggested. They might do a hair folicle test!
I'm a beginner Herbalist and I suggest Skull Cap Tea...! Also avoid things like Tums, Rolaids and Milk of Magnesium cause they coat
the stomach and block beneficial bacteria, flora passing thru the system!

It may be that they're taking a long time to work - if you metabolize and digest slowly. Don't take any more, wait another day or two and see if the accumulated laxatives produce explosive results. If not, try it from the other angle - with an enema or suppository.

Either the laxatives are placebos, or you are really plugged up, my friend. What, on earth, do you eat? Have you ever tried fresh vegetables? (No fresh spinach, of course). The more vegetables and fiber you take in the easier the poop comes out. You should also drink a lot of water to soften things up.

You're probably not taking enough. If it's safe, double up. And swallow it with a hot liquid. As hot as you can handle. The heat will make your body absorb it faster. You ever hear the saying that drinking warm prune juice is better that drinking it cold?
