I think lots have contributed, George Michael, Boy George, Madonna, Bette Midler, Barbara (you know her last name), Cher, Elton John, Ellen Degenerase, queer eye guys(kyan, the cutest), but my all time favorite, which she really isn't known to the gay community that well for being an icon, but if you do know that she is linked to us, then send me a e-mail and tell me about it, but my ICON is Mariah Carey!!!

Bette Midler, Madonna, Cher. They are not gay themselves, but have been made icons through the gay community.
I also want to mention that these three actually appreciate their gay following, which is important!
