It's my favorite show out there. I'm worried that this may be their last season though - i read online somewhere earlier today that there may already be a penned series finale. :( Say it isn't so! Regarding the CW, i'm just happy they kept Gilmore Girls! I guess we'll all be glued to our TVs next Tuesday the 26th! I have to remember it's on at 7pm here in the south as opposed to 8pm in Philly! I've been missing my "8pm" shows all summer - LOL
Oiy with the poodles already!

I love GG. I read something a while ago about why they got new writers for the show. Something about how the original creators Daniel and Amy Sherman-Palladino weren't going in the directions that the WB wanted them to go, especially (maybe specifically?) with the Luke/Lorelai story. I'm pretty sure that the WB wanted L/L to end up together, but ASP didn't have the same ideas about that, that perhaps Lorelai would end up with Christopher when the show finally ended. Anyways, this is all speculation, nothing based on word-of-mouth statements, just rumors. It does make sense though. Daniel and ASP kind of wanted to shatter that whole "happy ending" fairy tale sorta thing that all tv shows go with.
At any rate, the new guy in charge of the shows writing and direction is Dave Rosenthal, and he was already a writer for the show, so I think it'll all be ok.

i love the gilmore girls. and the deal with the CW is the WB and UPN have merged (i don't know who bought out who) and they took only the highest rated shows from each network and will be on in that way. not so bad, it is getting rid of some stupid shows i guess. they kept gilmore so i'm happy!

I love GG but I am worried that it will not be as good on the new network. They got all new writers and producers, so we will have to wait and see. Plus, there will have to be a lot of changes this year bc Logan is in London and Lorelai and Luke are having their issues.
