MY TRIP TO WALMART

As I looked at the clock, I knew that I was not getting anywhere standing in line. It was almost like history had passed me by! The lady behind me was so annoying, she kept yelling at her kids, "to put that shovel down", and she yelled so loud, I just knew she was going to get a sore throat. Her children were so bad that one of her son's even pulled a little girl's ponytail and made her cry! Oh how could I have gotten in such a terrible line ? I was just trying to buy The Beatles boxed set of music for a present.

Annie restlessly twisted her ponytail around her fingers as she hummed along with tunes she was playing by the Beatles. She really wanted to sing along, but had a sore throat. Knowing she had to prepare for her history exam, she continued to shovel the oatmeal down ; it was one of the few things she could tolerate swallowing. She quickly finished eating, watching the clock. At 6:30, she grabbed her book and cough drops, and headed to the library.

That was fun!

As I looked up at the clock, I realized I had to run to make it to History class. I was late once again and tried to tell the professor that I had a sore throat. He had no pity, handed me a shovel and told me to dig out The Beatles album we'd put in the time capsule. As I dug out our memories, my ponytail whipped around and snapped my nose. Now, not only my throat hurts, but so does my nose!!

Suffering from a sore throat, it was debatable if I'd make it to the history making concert featuring The Beatles. To make matters worse after looking at the clock I noticed I'd need to shovel my car out of the snow if I was going to make it. Adjusting my ponytail and grabbing my purse I was out the door and on my way.

The End
