I think white gold is okay, but I like yellow gold better. I think white gold looks too much like silver.

White gold is OK, but I like yellow and rose gold better. It's diffficult to distinguish white metals. Steel, silver, white gold, platinum and palladium look much alike. More rarely seen are red, blue, green and grey gold. My watches are 18kt or 750 gold. That means they are 75% gold. Silver and copper are used in yellow and rose gold. Palladium and silver are used in white gold.

Jewelers use white gold (which has very little actual gold in it) when the price of gold goes too high to make it practical to use in jewelry. Gold is now at an all time high, so once again white gold is advertised as the chic thing. Personally, I prefer 18 c. gold or higher. The color is richer and closer to the true color of natural gold nuggets right out of the ground (I've been gold panning and seen the real thing). The higher the gold content the less yellow and deeper gold a piece will look. I love the feeling of luxury exuded by rich true gold. If you have metal allergies like I do, you can't wear cheap jewelry anyway because metals like nickel cause itchy, peeling, weeping skin.

I think yellow gold is more for a mature group..white gold is for the younger generation..because it looks alot like silver..

Both have their advantages and it really comes down to the rest of the piece. White gold goes better on some designs with different gems than yellow gold. To each his own.

I like white gold than silver. If you compare white gold and silver, you can easily see the difference in color and white gold is better.

well i don't really like yellow gold that much, personaly i love white gold and silver! i think it looks better, but some people look really good in gold and for rings and stuff gold is good, but i just love the color silver for jewlery so i like white gold

i pick white gold over silver and yellow gold...yellow gold looks fake...like it came out of a bubble gum machine....i like silver but it is too cheap so white gold is my pick.

I love it. It also could look like platinum, which in my opinion is the nicest, but I like yellow gold also and rose gold is pretty too. I like gold in any color!! lol
