If they don't like to show their legs.. then just wear pants. Don't get me wrong, itlooks good sometimes,, but i see alot of girls who make and older women who wear this and it makes little sense to me.

Pantyhose don't look too cool but silk stockings (my fav is black) are sexy... especially with the right shoes.

Alot of times it has to do with the materials the other clothing is made out of. Some fabrics cling more than others. With a slip and hose a dress or skirt falls nicely without sticking to the back of your legs when you stand up and panty lines are non-existent. With JUST the slip, the slip sticks to your legs - and while it might not be noticible to anyone else, it is quite uncomfortable. Also, some shoes fit/wear better when wearing hose.

They actually keep your legs a little warmer, so they aren't just for looking good. Personally...I prefer pants because they're more comfortable & only wear dresses in summer.
By the way...some of the pantyhose are actually support hosiery & keep your legs healthy if you have vericose veins.

The girls that wear pantyhose know that it beats todays trashy looking bare look,if you can call that a look.They also know that wearing them separates them from the pack.It gives them that edge that says "I care about how I dress" and it just plain completes their outfit be it dresses,skirts and yes pants.Didn't hurt Catherine Bach (Daisy Duke) none.Looked super hot in pantyhose.

The gals are just trying to look better useing what they have to work with. Pantyhose make the legs look tanned and sleaker.

Because it makes their legs look great. So much more dressy than pasty pale legs. The shiny ones are sexy too, especially when worn with high heels.

I wear pantyhose every day just about...no less than 6 days a week.They look sexy on,make me feel sexy,etc!

b/c it gets Cold. panty hose keeps the legs warm while girls are showing off their legs.
