I'm tired of "LOL"...
I want to change the first "L" to "C"...the "C" stands for "chortling" as in "chortling out loud" or "ROTFCMAO" would be "rolling on the floor chortling my a$$ off."
Won't hurt my feelings if you disagree...just realize, it's gonna happen...you should want to be on the winning team! col!

a chortle already MEANS to laugh out loud in a breathy gleeful way. You can't really chortle to yourself, so col is a little redundant.

Chortling, huh? That's chortle-rific! I personally like SOL.....you know, snort out loud? I'm a snorter, my best friend is a snorter and now my 8 year old daughter snorts when she laughs, snorters rule! Of course, there's that other meaning behind SOL........ok, COL it is!

Good use of the language! However, I think it is too intellectual, and will be lost on LOL abusers. Keep us posted on new trends...
