when a person's social security number is shown to be used after their death in1984 three times in fact, twice in 1986 and once in 1990, and no other identity is attached to the social security number, and that there death was never reported to the social security number administration is this an indication that the person is still alive and used their social security number

My mom died on Aug. 1 1990 and she voted in the Nov. election in 1990. Someone is using the # . If you know for sure the person is dead or for some good reason you assume they are dead REPORT it. You might even get a reward!

Nope that person isn't considered alive if the person is found guilty of using a dead persons social security number omg will they get in alot of trouble

It sounds like someone obtained and used the number on the basis of fraud. Most creditors will receive an alert on the credit report (obtained when deciding whether or not to crant credit) that the person is deceased.

Could be but most likely someone stole the persons SSN and just used it. Lots of people do that now days, they go threw old records and steal dead peoples SSN.

No, it just means that someone stole that number for some reason and if there is no other id, they are using that too. Which is a crime, by the way.

I think it means someones using their identity, or they faked their death.
