I need a guideline to sketch my drawings and know precisely how to place the mosaic pieces. I can do it just by guessing but the pieces never fit properly. Please can somebody help me or give me some idea of how I can go about this. Thanks jan

do your drawing and do a dry run, place the pieces without securing them, trace them on your paper??? mosaics don't have to be perfect, that's part of the quality of handmade.

What are you making the mosaic out of? what medium? I need to know that first.

By leaving tiny spaces between the pieces and waiting until you have it all planned out before they're glued.
