Read, Read, Read. Read everything you can get your hands on. Quality stuff though. Read good authors. Read aloud and practice. Even native speakers butcher the language when they don't practice. There are speech instructors you can go to who can help reduce your accent. There's nothing wrong with an accent though if the language behind it is correct and it isn't too thick.

If you started English after after you became a teenager, it is very difficult to get rid of a foreign accent. However, listen to English on the radio, watch TV, and speak it as much as you can. If you live in the USA, take English as a Second Language classes. Most are free. You will always have your first language. I don't know of anyone who speaks perfect English. Aim for improving your skills, not being perfect.

well i know what you going threw ,cuz i speak english alot but i also have a accent too , it makes me speak horrible sometimes when i talk to somebody on the phone or in person . just how people came from ? well if i was you i will try to get myself a english skills books or a tap player and practices youre speeches and listening to your own voice on the tape and just repeating the words then you will learn how to speak good after all . you wont have problems with speaking english perfectly . i might be wrong but i hope something might work for you.

u can go to any English council or learn it on the Internet(there are some websites that helps u with the English)u can also read every day a book or the cheapest thing to read different English news papers and read any English thing on any website that u like.

In most cities there is a literacy council. Maybe they might help. Listen to t v and radio also the library where you are might have tapes to help you. If they don't they can get them for you.
