Try using vinegar and a Scumbuster. If you run the shower for a few minutes first with hot water it should help soften the soap scum, which will make the vinegar act more quickly. Depending on how thick the soap scum is you may need to repeat the treatment a couple of times but the vinegar will also help remove any hard water stains that might be part of the problem.

Once you get the soap scum off put either Rain-X or car wax on the doors to help resist water/soap scum. Be sure to squeegee after using the shower.

Good luck.

if you use Scrub Free soap scum remover and it is still there you may have moved into a house where the last people didn't know that you have to rinse off all chemicals within one to three minutes and they may have chemically etched the glass. if you scrap the glass with a plastic credit card does soap scum come off? If not, it is etched.

doors get like that if you don't squeege them after each shower. water has stuff in it that penatrates the glass. Get new ones and wipe them down, also use body soap to reduce the amount of soap scum which is mostly wax.

Go to your local hardware store and ask for a box or bag of TSP, Tri-Sodium Phosphate. It will require the use of gloves when you go to use it but it works very well and will strip the soap scum right off.

Try using an amonia based window cleaner and use newspapers to scrub it. For some reason, there is something in the paper or ink that really does remove the spots. It works on car windows too.

If it's an old house, you will do well to replace the glass doors since they most likely aren't shatter proof.
