Easy - get a pre-paid plan, no fuss, no muss.

You will either need to get someone else to open the account and sign the contract or use a pre-paid phone. I noticed that one other individual indicated T-Mobile doesn't check credit but when we were with them they did. Given that the credit score is typically rather quick it's possible that the individual didn't realize the credit review took place.

tracfone was the cheapest pre-pay I could find. Alot of pre-pay charge you $$ anyday you make any call at all. Cingular charges $1.00 each day you use the phone at all not including the minutes you use.

Prepay is for sure the way to go too..and not to worry about long term contracts. Drawback is that the phone choices are much more limited.

well i know that you can get a plan just about anywhere with credit problems....just with a very high deposit...but i heard that virgin mobile is the best place to go and that everyone gets a phone that tries!now i have heard that the services is not the best either...i dont know from personal experience though..i have sprint..which is great...good luck!!

Cingular has a goPhone thing. It is prepaid and you can get some pretty sweet phones. Check them out at cingular.com
