I married my husband a little over 2 months ago and I couldn't be happier. I met my him about 4 months ago and after 5 weeks of dating we decided to get married. I have been through it ALL when it comes to men. I knew exactly what I was looking for and when I found it, I didn't want to give it up. I thought I would NEVER be happy. But I am here to tell you that I am and I am so lucky to have found such a wonderful man that treats me and my children with the utmost respect. I couldn't have asked for a better man! Nobody really has to reply. I just wanted the whole world to know how happy I am!

Most of the people that responded are happy for me and my family, but there are some that think my husband could be a child molester or that my marriage won't last. Thank you for the congrats, but to the others, comments like that only go to show how happy you aren't and how distrustful of people you are. I'm sorry you aren't as happy as I am. Why is it that somebody always has to spoil everything, or in this case, TRY to spoil it. Sorry, but if I didn't think this could be a long and meaningful relationship, I wouldn't have even given it a second thought. As I stated before, I'm 35. I'm not a teenager with a "crush". I've never been in love before now. I've already been married once. I was with him for over 5 years before we got married and I promised myself the next time I got married, it would be for good. I'm happy and I'll be DAMNED if I let someone try and spoil it for me. Have a good life, cuz I know I will.

im happy to hear that there are people out there still marrying for the right reason, love obviously. im happy for you truly. my dad is remarrying this november (2nd marriage, parents are divorced) and i am so happy for him. when my parents split, i gave up hope for love in any form but now that im hearing your story and my dad has found happiness, it gives me a new sense of hope. maybe there is still someone out there for me, at least there is for you and i truly am happy that you have found it. cherish it and never let it go.

i did the same thing and after the honeymoon stage in my marriage ended, i found out the 3 most important things are how does my spouse resolve conflict and how does she react under pressure. The other thing is what are each of your expectations in situational circumstances. These are the issues that cause problems and don't surface until later. If I would have figured this out instead of rushing into a marriage my life would be totally different. Oh, there was extasy for 8 months. But hell came afterwards.
Don't freak out, but just a heads up that you should address these over the next few months before the hurricane!

Good for You!!! I have much of the same situation going on in my life and would just like to say congratulations and may you have many happy years together. As long as you are happy, never let anybody bring you down. Life is too short and love is really the only thing that matters in the end.
So from a fellow, I am soooo in love with my husband, person, I say, Screw everyone else!!!

Although this isn't a question (lol), I am pleased to see that someone on this site is living a fabulous life.
You're proof that you don't have to be rich or famous to be happy and that people who think the "Right One" doesn't exist, well now they know the right one does exist, you just have to wait.
I am happy and hope that your marriage lasts... by the looks of it, I am sure it will.
