There is a great website (www.safefetus.com) that provides extensive information about the safety in any medication that you take throughout pregnancy. Each drug is rated and gives specifics on any testing done and any potential harm it might cause the fetus.

Tylenol was rated as B, meaning there has been animal testing done on the drug but no human testing. I have also heard that Children's Tylenol is a safe medication to take while pregnant. I hope this helps and good luck!

Tylenol is one of the safest drugs there is, but even the safest of drugs (medicines) can be harmful if misused. A massive overdose of tylenol can severely damage your liver, but is less likely to harm your unborn child. If you need to use tylenol, follow the directions on the package. You can also speak to your obstetrician about your concerns.

No.

Tylenol is the only pain reliever a pregnant woman can take. Actually, I think it's the safest compared to the other options out there like Ibuprofren (which sends the wrong messages to the uterus) and Aspirin.

It has always been thought that no Tylenol will not harm your baby. Current studdies show however that when taken in the third trimester it can cause breathing difficulties when your baby is born. I tried not to take it when I was pregnant, why take any chances.

Not at all. Tylenol was the only thing I could take when I was pregnant.

First off I'm not a doctor. And it's always best to call your doctors office to ask them. But my doctor has always let me take tylenol for aches and pains or just a plain headache. But again I would suggest asking your doctor for the reason that everyone is different.

No, I don't think so. Because tylenol was the only thing my doctor said I could take with both of my children.

It was the only thing I could take while pregnant. So your answer is no, my doctor said tylenol was fine.
