Why are girls so worried about their face?

This girl in my class she is only 12 and she to worried about her face (she sits in front of a little compact mirror all day in class) when she needs to do something about her nappy a** hair.

because males make such a deal about our looks yet somehow or other think that even though they're 40 pounds overweight, have gone bald in their early 20's and are the biggest loser and pig the world has ever known and smell like a garbage pit that women are attracted to them for some reason or other.
