I think the US has lost pretty well all it's credibility with it's allies. We are sort of waiting to see what the wingnut will do next. Delusionally he went off in his John Wayne mode, without consulting his allies. " You are with us or with the terrorists". Georgie, we are adult nations that have for the best part , been through as much or more than 9/11. Talk, don't demand. We, i.e. the rest of the world sort of suspect Saudi Arabia may know more than they are saying, so, logically, in his mind, Georgie attacks Iraq. I think the allies are more confused than anything. Britain,(why I'll never know, bye-bye Tony) went into the fray with the US. We,(Canada) are drawn into the Afghan bit. Now that's a story in itself. However all that being said, Yes I think the US may not have more enimies, but definately fewer friends.

Oh no, how could that be, couldn't possibly create more terrorists when the war was based on a lie, when thousands and thousands of innocent people die to satisfy the underlying reasons for the war, oil & greed. How would that creat more insurgents in Iraq, and terrorists all over the middle east.? I wouldn't exactly be throwing flowers to Bush when my country is rubble and my family dead.

We are held in contempt over much of the world due to the machinations of the Bush Administration. His behavior is becoming more and more erratic; duly noted by even the Republicans, and now reported by the world press. His coniving with Tony Blair has cost the British PM the admiration and respect of most of his country.
He's going over the edge, I hope he doesn't take the rest of us with him.

The same amount. We have neither made or lost any friends. In the real world the best you can hope for is allies. With businesses being global governments are finding themselves re-examing alliances with countries that compete in the same fields.

France and Germany opposed us going into Iraq for business reasons. Now Russia and Germany support Iran for business reasons.
