The body has what is called a Circadian Rhythm. Everyone's is different, and yours might just be those odd hours that you have. Have you tried doing very strenious work during the day like moving things for neighbors? That might tire you out enough to get you to sleep a little earlier, and it might give you more of an appetite, but you would still be excersizing. Try that and if that doesn't work then you might want to see a doctor about it.

Try going to bed earlier, make yourself a very calm bedtime routine. Try taking a shower, reading a book, quiet relaxing music. Make sure you eat well and get plenty of exercise during the day. You could also make yourself get up earlier so that you are tired when you go to bed.

Well if you are exerting more energy and eating less, you will lose weight but it wouldn't hurt to have your blood sugar checked. Rapid weight loss is one of the signs of diabetes.
It's a simple blood test that takes only a few seconds to do. Check with your doctor. You probably should check with him anyway if you're having problems sleeping at night.

The enegy required by a teen`s body goes up and down due to varrying growth rates. Enjoy the extra energy now because it will go down...however...sleep cycles are important so you might want to try to adjust yours to fit with a better timing. Increased energy periods plus increased activity plus reduction in food intake leads to weight loss...simple...but if you worried talk to your Doc.

Have you seen your doctor about whats going on? It is possible that you may have a thyroid problem or something. I suggest a visit to the doctor and suggest some blood work just to rule out any medical problems.
